December 2014 Monthly Market Stats

The median sales price for a single-family home was $417,005 in December 2014, an increase of 4.3% over December 2013, and a 16.9% increase over 2013. The number of  single-family residential closings increased by 28.4% in December 2014 compared to 2013. Land closings were up 80% over December 2013, with median price up 50%.

The average price of residential properties in Brentwood continues to rise and is up 15% over December 2013. Franklin remained steady in numbers of closings and price, and saw a 22% increase in new listings. Nolensville saw a 74% increase in the number of residential closings, and a 10% price increase. Thompsons Station saw a 30% median price increase in December 2014 over 2013.

Markets around Williamson County continue to perform well also. Davidson County saw 772 Residential Closings with a median price of $171,225. Maury County had 100 Residential Closings wiht a median price of $179,750. Rutherford County had 424 Residential Closings with a Median Price of $166,631.
